~ Veritas Christian Co-op ~ Lebanon, Ohio ~Biology ~ This class is designed as the first high school-level science study. Sixteen modules cover cell life, genetics, and creation science as an alternative to evolution, ecology, insects, plants, reptiles, mammals, and more. Due to the controversial nature of science, Veritas Christian Home School Group has decided to choose a curriculum that embraces the literal 6 day view of creation. Our teachers will instruct the class from this perspective while at the same time encouraging open discussion. Scheduling Info/Prerequisites: 3 trimesters (year long); Students will need to have completed Pre-Algebra! Intended Curriculum: Exploring Creation with Biology textbook, and Solutions and Tests for Exploring Creation with Biology Outside Work: Significant Supply/Book Fees: $10 lab fee to help offset the cost of dissection kit and other lab supplies needed throughout the year; Student will need to purchase Exploring Creation with Biology textbook, and Solutions and Tests for Exploring Creation with Biology.
