Drawing Skills & More (Grades 5+) ~ Students will be taught how to see items as they really are and apply drawing skills to render a subject as it really is.   They will also be encouraged to use their imagination, because imagination is what sets each individual apart from others and makes each student unique.  Students will gain a new appreciation for how things are created and be taught to REALLY LOOK at a subject, separating it out in their mind to build it back up on paper. We will use a variety of pencils, charcoal, experiment with pen and ink and pastel.

Supply/Book Fees: Teacher fee is $25 per student for the trimester

   All supplies can be found at United Art and Education but it is not mandatory for the parents to purchase exactly what I have requested. If they can find a product at a better price at Wal-Mart etc that is fine.

    11" x 14" SPIRAL BOUND Sketch or Drawing Pad, 50 pages, $5.00 (any brand is fine but spiral bound is important. It is also important to have at least this size.)

Staedtler Mars White Plastic Eraser, $.89

4H, B, 4B Drawing Pencils, about $.89 each (these shades are not mandatory but I want them to have a small variety for experimenting.)

Pigma Micron Pen, Black, size 03 (or any fine point felt tip pen) $2.50
