"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." ~ Proverbs 22:6 King James Version

Finance

Tuition ~ Current tuition is $85 per trimester per family for morning classes, or a total of $100 per trimester if you also stay for lunch and 2 more afternoon classes. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required when registering your family. This deposit will be applied to your first trimester tuition, and the remainder will be due on September 1, 2011. Tuition for each of the second and third trimesters is due at the start of that trimester.

Please make checks payable to: Veritas Christian Homeschool Group

Returned Check Policy: Members will be responsible for the basic check amount plus all fees associated with any check that is returned to Veritas due to insufficient funds.

Class Budgets ~ Each teacher is allotted $35 per trimester per class for expenses relating to that class. Examples would include a book purchased or some arts/crafts supply that we currently don't have in our supply cabinet, special papers or notebooks, etc.

In order to receive reimbursement for expenses, a receipt must be attached to the Reimbursement Form and the form filled out completely. Due to IRS regulations, we must have a receipt in order to reimburse--there can be no exceptions to this requirement. The reimbursement form may be downloaded from this website either by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page or by clicking on the "Forms" button.

Fundraisers ~ Our philosophy regarding fundraising is that the products or services sold should be of excellent quality or value, that fundraising activities should be kept to a minimum and that they should benefit our members.

We want to give families the opportunity to defray some of their tuition expenses by participating in a variety of fundraisers.  Please understand that the fundraisers are VERY important. Money that is earned through these events help to pay group expenses that would otherwise be passed on to our members in the form of higher tuition.

Box Tops for Education: Ongoing: This fundraiser is coordinated by M. Darst. Click hyperlink for detailed explanation of how this fundraiser works.  For further details click here.

Kroger Neighborhood Rewards Program: Ongoing.  For further details click here.

Reimbursement Forms ~ This form should be downloaded, printed, filled out, and turned in to S. Slanker, with appropriate receipts attached, for the reimbursement of class expenses. Questions should be directed to at smslanker@gmail.com
