What is my job as a Veritas member?
Members must attend the Annual Membership Meeting held in August each year.
An adult member from each family is required to volunteer each week. Two
hours of service are required in the AM for all members, and two hours of
service are required in the PM, for those staying all day. This may include
being a substitute, aid or helper. Additionally, you may be required to work
a dismissal or lunch duty. Veritas is a cooperative effort; no free hours
will be guaranteed, although we try to give one free hour each week. The
adult member must remain on the property at all times.
Can I drop my child off?
We offer Drop-In Classes for grades 7 – 12. Please see “Drop-In Student
Policy” on the Forms page of the website for details and tuition.
Can I join Veritas if I am a member of a virtual academy?
No, we do not accept members who are currently enrolled in public or private
virtual academies. Members must personally notify the local superintendent
of their intent to homeschool per Ohio Admin. Code § 3301-34-03(A). Our
policy coincides with HSLDA’s stance. For more information see www.hslda.org.
Does Veritas offer other activities outside of regular Co-op hours?

days. Some of these include, but are not limited to field trips, spelling
